Ingredients (serves 4):
1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken wings
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Buffalo Sauce:
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
½ cup (120 ml) hot sauce (like Frankās RedHot)
1 tablespoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Instructions:
Prep the wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss them in oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook the wings:
Oven method: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 40ā45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
Air fryer method: Cook at 190°C (375°F) for 25ā30 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Fried method: Heat oil to 175°C (350°F) and fry wings in batches for 8ā10 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Make the sauce: In a saucepan, mix melted butter, hot sauce, honey, and Worcestershire. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Coat the wings: Toss the hot wings in the Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dip.
