In the double-blind study, some people were given 250 mg of dried ginger, while others were given 50 mg of sumatriptan. The results revealed that ginger was just as effective as sumatriptan, in fact providing relief to about 90 percent of people within two hours.

One of the most exciting properties of ginger is its ability to prevent the formation of inflammatory compounds and even effectively treat inflammation in the tissues, muscles, and joints. * Ingredients:
° 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root
° 3 cups pure water
° ½ fresh lemon juice
° Raw honey to taste
* Directions :
Pour 3 cups of filtered water into a glass bowl. Grate fresh ginger well in the water with a grater for best results, then add lemon juice. Finally, add honey to taste and stir until it melts. You can drink this mixture lukewarm or chilled. Drink daily as a preventative measure or when you encounter problems, drink several cups during the day to help relieve symptoms.
