You will love this dish for sure! Aside from the delicious flavours, the ingredients are very basic that I know you already have them right now. My only advice to you is to be very generous with the cheese. Yes, thank me later! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 (12 ounces) package dry penne pasta

2 teaspoons olive oil

1-pound mild Italian sausage

1 cup chopped onion

½ cup white wine

1 (15 ounces) can tomato sauce

1 (14.5 ounces) can diced tomatoes with garlic

1 (6 ounces) can tomato paste

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place a large pot on the stove and pour salted water.

Step 3: Turn the heat to high and allow the salted water to boil.

Step 4: Add the pasta and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until firm to bite.

Step 5: Drain the water and rinse with cold running water to stop the cooking process.

Step 6: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 7: Add the sausage and onion. Cook until the sausage turns brown and onion is translucent.

Step 8: Remove the accumulated oil from the sausage. Pour in the wine and allow it to boil for 1 minute.

Step 9: Deglaze the pan and add the tomato paste and sliced tomatoes. Stir until well blended and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Step 10: Remove from the heat and add the cooked pasta. Toss until the pasta well blended with the sauce.

Step 11: Transfer the mixture into the prepared 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

Step 12: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely.

Step 13: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool.

Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
