Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 – 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts ( optional )
1 – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 – 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
4 cups blackberries
6 Tablespoons corn starch
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Place the butter in a microwavable bowl, then place it inside the microwave. Heat until the butter is melted completely.
In a mixing bowl, add nuts and flour. Whisk until well combined.
Transfer the flour mixture into a 9×13-inch pan and press it on the bottom.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until done. Remove and allow it to cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, add powdered sugar, milk, and cream cheese. Stir until well blended.
Spread the mixture on top of the cooled crust.
Place it inside the fridge to chill.
In a saucepan, add the blackberries, water, and sugar. Place it on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Stir until well mixed, then allow the mixture to boil. Cook for about 3 minutes or until the texture becomes thick.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
Spread the blackberry mixture over the cream cheese.
Spread the whipped topping over the blackberry mixture.
Place it inside the fridge to chill for several hours.
Serve and enjoy!
