Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

water as called for on the back of the seasoning packet

3 (8”) flour tortillas

½ c. salsa con queso

1 ½-2 c. shredded Mexican cheese blend

HOW TO MAKE EASY LAYERED TACO BAKE

Step 1: Cook the ground beef, breaking the pieces as you go until brown. Drain any excess grease.

Step 2: Following the packet directions, add the taco seasoning and water to the browned beef.

Step 3: Turn the heat off and add into the beef the half cup of salsa con queso.

Step 4: Stir well until completely combined.

Step 5: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 6: With nonstick cooking spray, grease an 8-inch round baking pan.

Step 7: With a flour tortilla, layer the bottom of the prepared pan.

Step 8: On the tortilla, add around ⅓ of the ground beef taco filling and top with ⅓ of the shredded cheese.

Step 9: Do the same until all the layers are filled (tortilla, taco mixture, and cheese).

Step 10: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the edges turned a bit golden brown.

Step 11: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Note:

If desired, serve this taco bake with sour cream and diced tomatoes on top.
