Homemade strawberry shortbread recipe is made with fresh strawberry puree and topped with fresh strawberry filling.Whether you’re looking for a fun spring recipe or a great Easter dessert, these simple strawberry cookies are the perfect choice.
* Ingredients :
° 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
° 1/2 cup canola oil
° 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
° 4 large eggs
° 3/4 cup sour cream
° 1/2 cup milk
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 1/4 cup strawberry jam
° 3 cups all-purpose flour
° 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
° 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
 2-3 drop red food coloring

° 2 tsp jam strawberry
° 1/2 c chips white chocolate
° 1-2 drop red food coloring
* Preparation
Heat oven 350 degres F .Spray the cooking solution into a 10 or 12 cup pan and set aside.Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sit aside.Combine wet ingredients: In a mixer bowl, whisk the butter, sugar and vegetable oil on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and blend for another 30 seconds or until smooth.Adding vanilla, lemon zest, lime juice, sour cream and milk and continue stirring until all ingredients are well combined.Baking: Place flour mixture in mixer bowl and stir until smooth.Pour the mixture into a cake pan and bake for 55 minutes to an hour,Let the pie cool for 15 minutes before removing from baking sheet, then continue chilling on wire shelf or serving plate.
Make the frosting: While the cake is baking, add the strawberry frosting.Place all of the strawberry ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.Pour the strawberry mixture into a blender and whisk until smooth.Let the mixture cool completely before sprinkling on the cake.You can add strawberries to the cake if you like.
