π Ingredients
- 1 + 1/2 cups (190 g) flour
- 1 + 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115 g) butter (at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 + 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 cup (230 g) butter (for frosting)
- 3 cups (375 g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce or honey (optional)
- A pinch of edible gold dust (optional)

- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a muffin tin with 12 liners.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and vanilla. Mix in half the dry ingredients, then milk, then remaining flour mixture until just combined.
- Prepare cinnamon swirl: mix brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Fill molds halfway, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon swirl, swirl with toothpick, then top with more batter to 75% full.
- Bake 18β20 minutes. Cool completely.
- Frosting: Beat butter 3 minutes, gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pipe onto cupcakes.
- Optional golden drizzle: Mix caramel or honey with gold dust and drizzle thinly over cupcakes.
