Granny's Cocoa Cream
This quickly & delicious chocolate cake may remind you of grandma’s baking and make your appetite shine.
* ingredients :
° 1/2 cup cocoa
° 1/4 cup cornstarch/or arrowroot powder (or 1/2 cup all-purpose flour)
° 3 egg yolks
° 1 1/2 cups sugar
° 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 2 cups of milk
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 9″ pre-baked pie shell
Step 1
  Mix cocoa, cornstarch and beaten egg yolk; Sugar and salt, then gradually add milk, stirring in a saucepan over medium heat.
Cook until thickened, beating smooth. While stirring, mix in the vanilla.Creamy brownies take time to thicken, so stir them…and then stir (10-15 minutes).A thick-bottomed frying pan helps a lot.Keep working until it thickens. Cast TO pre–baked pie crust.Chill for several hours before serving.Add whipped cream, cold whipped cream or baked meringue as needed to decorate 🙂
