- 1 medium-size beet. Washed and peeled.
- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil (I also love to use avocado oil.)
- Salt + Pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Favorite seasoning of choice. I use Roast Vegetables and Fries Spice Blend.
- Avocado oil spray.
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
Wash, dry, peel and cut the beets into very thin rings if the beets are medium-sized. Or into half-rings, if the beets are large
Add oil, salt and seasoning to the beet slices and stir well with your hands or the to distribute the oil evenly
Place the beetroot slices in one layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Please give them space so they do not overlap.
Set the air fryer on airfry mode at 400F/200C and cook for 5 minutes.
Open your air fryer and flip each beet chip on the other side. Spray with oil if needed.
Fry for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the golden brown caramelized edges
I either slice the beets using a sharp knife, a or a food processor attachment.
Depending on how thin you slice your beets you may set your air fryer for less cooking time
