I love changing things up a bit when it comes to food. I’ve tried so many different versions of pulled pork, but I really love chicken more, so this recipe was exactly what I needed. Plus, I hate throwing away food or letting leftovers spoil. When you’ve got a big batch of chicken that needs to be eaten this is the perfect recipe to turn to. My kids and husband absolutely love this stuff and I know that you will, too!
I agree! A double batch of shredded chicken never hurt anyone!
Ingredients
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
18 oz bottle honey barbecue sauce
1/2 c Italian salad dressing
1/4 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
Place the chicken into the crockpot.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour this over the chicken. Place lid on crock pot.
Cook 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
When chicken is done, remove from crock pot and shred using two forks.
Return shredded chicken to crock pot and toss to coat with sauce.
