INGREDIENTS NEEDED :
• Chuck Roast or Flank Steak: 1 1/2 lb (sliced into Thin Strips)
• Canola Oil: 1 tbsp
• Garlic: 4 cloves (minced)
• Beef Broth: 3/4 cup
• Soy Sauce: 1/2 cup
• Brown Sugar: 1/3 cup
• Sesame Oil: 2 tbsp
• Broccoli: 1 lb (cut into Florets)
• Water: 3 tbsp
• Cornstarch: 3 tbsp
STEPS TO MAKE IT :
STEP 1 :
To start off the recipe, go ahead and put canola oil in the Instant Pot and select “Saute”. Then brown the meat in batches.
STEP 2 :
Ok, stir in together the beef broth, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil until the sugar is dissolved.
STEP 3 :
Once the sugar is dissolved, lock the lid and cook at high pressure for 10 minutes. (The valve sould be set to the sealing position).
STEP 4 :
After that, go ahead and do a quick pressure release. (Make sure the valve is set to the venting position and when the valve drops, carefully remove the lid)
STEP 5 :
You’ll want to add the cornstarch and water mixture. And please stir until smooth.
STEP 6 :
You can then select “saute”, add the broccoli and stir a bit.
STEP 7 :
Close the Instant Pot and let the broccoli cook on saute; if using fresh broccoli, cook for 3 minutes and for 5 minutes if using frozen broccoli. Time done, open the lid and serve & ENJOY !!!
