These easy devil eggs are made using a recipe that my mom always used to. These eggs make the perfect addition to food dishes, holiday parties and family dinners.
Boiling an egg is fairly simple, but getting a nice golden color in the middle can be more difficult for some than for others.
After the water boils completely, gently add the eggs in one go. While the eggs are boiling for ten minutes, prepare a bowl of ice and enough water to completely submerge the eggs.
This extra step prevents the yolk from turning green or discoloring. After the eggs have cooled completely to the touch, it is time to start the next step – preparing the filling.
Devil’s egg filling:
Texture is really important when making devil eggs. If you don’t get a fine filling, this will create lumpy pieces of egg yolk and nobody wants that.
After removing the yolks from the eggs with a spoon, mash them to crumble them and make them smooth.
Spreading mayonnaise and mustard after mashing them will really help you get the creamy smooth texture you want.
* Ingredients :
+ Crunchy cheese
° 110g grated parmesan cheese
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° Half a teaspoon soft pepper
° 12 large boiled eggs, cut in half
° 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
° A tablespoon of mustard
° A teaspoon of white vinegar
° 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
° 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
° A little smoked paprika
° Chopped chives
* Method :
First, Heat oven to ( 200 degrees C ) .
Cover a large baking tray with silicone baking mat or parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, then place the cheese mixture on the baking tray, keeping the space between them with a spoon
Cooking about 6 minutes until golden, & taking it out of oven & let it cool in tray for ten min .
In another bowl, crush the egg yolk and add to it Dijon mayonnaise with mustard, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt and pepper, and we get the filling.
We put the egg yolk filling inside the egg white, then sprinkle it with paprika and chives, then immediately before serving we put the crunchy cheese on top that we prepared before.
This recipe is a great appetizer for events or parties.
The best way to boil eggs is to put the eggs in boiling water, then leave them for 10 minutes
Meanwhile, we prepare a bowl of ice and enough water to submerge the eggs, this step is very important for the eggs to keep their yellow color.
