Ingredients:
° 2 lbs of ground beef or turkey
° 3 tbsp. Minced garlic
° 1 large yellow onion, diced
° 2 1/2 cups of water
° 1/2 cup beef broth
° 1/3 cup olive oil
° 2 cans of tomato sauce (15 ounces)
° 2 cans (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
° 1 T Italian seasoning
° Seasoning 1 T Adobo
° 3 bay leaves
° 1 T seasoned salt
° 1/2 cup black pepper
° 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
° 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
° 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation:
In a large saucepan, sauté the ground meat in a skillet over medium-high heat until half-cooked, remove from the heat.
Add the garlic, onions, olive oil and until the meat is cooked through.
Add the water and broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, and the seasoning of salt, pepper and seasoned adobo.
Mix well. Lower the heat and cover
Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the pan, stir well until combined.
Cover again and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Time cooking, removeing bay leaves
Add only the cheddar cheese and mix until well combined
Add the mozzarella just before serving
