Sausage Jalapeno Poppers


  • 10-12 large fresh jalapeno peppers halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 1 cup ground pork sausage, browned
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220 degrees C).

  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, pepper, and onion powder.

  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each jalapeno half. Arrange stuffed halves on a baking dishes.

  4. Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly and lightly browned.
  5. Serve immediately.
