This slow-cooking potato and pork soup is a delicious and memorable combination that your family will enjoy as if you were standing by the stove caring for it for hours.
* Ingredients :
° 8 cups of potato wine, cut into cubes
° 1 onion yellow cut to cubes
° 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
° 1/2 cup chopped celery
° 16 oz Smithfield Pork Chops 2 Pack Anytime Favorite™️ Ham Cube
° 1 teaspoon kosher salt
° 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
° 1/4 cup flour
° 4 cups chicken broth
° 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (you can also use milk – I used whole milk)
° Half a cup of sour cream
* Directions :
Notes.Place potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, ham, kosher salt, and chicken broth with pepper in a slow cooker and cook for 7-8 to 4-5 hours.Using mashed potatoes, mash about half of the potatoes (don’t worry, the pork won’t be too soft)Add the flour, heavy cream/milk and sour cream and stir everything together, cover and cook for another 16 minutes.
