4 halved medium green peppers
1.5 pound browned ground beef
1 packet taco spice mix, or if you’re looking for a fantastic meal recipe for homemade taco seasoning
3/4 cup of liquid
1 pound cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
a half cup of salsa
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the seeds and wash the peppers before cutting them in half lengthwise through the centre.. Pour 1/4 cup water into a casserole dish. Microwave on high for 7–10 minutes, or until peppers are tender. Check for doneness on a regular basis.
Meanwhile, brown the ground beef until it is fully done. Cook according to the recipe or packet instructions, adding the taco seasoning and water as needed. Combine the sour cream, salsa, and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese after the meat has been cooked.
Using nonstick spray, coat a 13 x 9 baking dish. Fill the dish with cooked peppers and a generous amount of the meat and cheese mixture. Finish with the remaining cheese.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the peppers are hot and the cheese has melted..
