Chili Cheese Dog Bake Dinner


1 heated can of 14 to 15 oz chilli
1 PillsburyTM refrigerated traditional pizza crust
4 cheese sticks (Cheddar)
4 all-beef hot dogs
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
a quarter teaspoon of garlic powder
a quarter teaspoon of parsley flakes


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking sprays a 9-inch square or 11×7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish. Pour the hot chilli into the dish and smooth it out evenly.

Unroll the dough and cut it into four strips. 1 mozzarella stick should be cut half lengthwise and placed on each side of 1 hot dog. Wrap a pizza dough strip around the cheese and hot dog, slightly overlapping in the middle. Using the remaining dough strips, cheese sticks, and hot dogs, repeat the process. On top of the hot chilli, place wrapped hot dogs. (Chili must be scorching.)

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

Meanwhile, heat butter in a small microwavable cup high in a microwave. Garlic powder and parsley are added last.

Take the baking dish out of the oven. Brush the butter mixture on top of each cheese dog. Serve right away.
