Cortadillo Mexican Pink Cake

Here’s my quick version of a popular pan dulce you find in Panaderias…
Cortadillo Mexican Pink Cake Quick Version 🍰🍰🍰
Ingredients:
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp cake batter flavor extract or vanilla
For glaze
1.5 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tsp milk
2 tsps melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla mix well
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients well. Butter a 13X9 dish very well. Add to pan and bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or once it springs back when touched. Remove from oven let cool. Flip onto a board. With a knife cut the edges on all sides.

For glaze

Add red food coloring to make the shade of pink you prefer. Mix well it will be a bit runny but not much. Add to the top evenly add sprinkles and done!
