CROCKPOT CHICKEN & GRAVY

This crockpot chicken and gravy is another amazing addition to your menu rotation. It is super quick to prep, requires only three main ingredients, and will surely become your family’s favorite! I love how simple this is to make. All you need is to dump everything in your crockpot, and you are all set! I set this chicken and gravy to cook before leaving the house, and I come back to the most amazing, flavorful-packed weeknight meal! I serve this scrumptious chicken and gravy over hot steamed rice and with beans or asparagus on the side.

Ingredients

1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup

3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 (0.87-ounce) envelopes of chicken gravy mix

hot steamed rice

½ c. water or chicken broth, optional

HOW TO MAKE CROCKPOT CHICKEN & GRAVY

Step 1: In a slow cooker, place the chicken. If desired, season with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Mix the soup, gravy mix, and water until well combined. Then, pour this over the chicken.

Step 3: Put the lid on and set it to cook for 4 to 6 hours on low.

Step 4: Into bite-sized pieces, shred the chicken and serve immediately over hot steamed rice. Enjoy!

Notes:

For this recipe, you can swap chicken breasts with chicken thighs or tenderloins.

If using frozen chicken, you need to cook on the higher end of the cooking time.

If desired, you can throw in frozen veggies to the mixture.

You can use Healthy Choice Cream of Chicken Soup and Lower Sodium Chicken Gravy Mix to lower the sodium.
