π« Double Chocolate Ricotta Marble Loaf Cake
Fudgy, moist, and beautifully marbled β this loaf cake combines the richness of dark chocolate with creamy ricotta and optional chocolate chips for an indulgent treat.
π Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C). Grease loaf pan and line bottom with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In separate bowl, whisk sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth. Add ricotta, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Divide batter into two bowls. Add melted dark chocolate to one and mix.
- Spoon batters alternately into pan. Swirl lightly for marble effect. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake 50β60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan, then slice completely cooled.
