Ingredients
1 Egg
1 lb skinless, chicken tenderloins or breast sliced/ cut into strips
1/3 c. breadcrumbs You can use any breadcrumbs (Italian Seasoned, panko, etc.)
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese I used freshly grated
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
cooking oil spray I used olive oil
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: In different bowls, place the breadcrumbs, eggs, and flour
Step 2: To the bowl with the breadcrumbs, add the grated Parmesan, Italian Seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Step 3: In flour, coat the sliced chicken breasts. Dip in egg and dredge in breadcrumbs.
Step 4: Using cooking oil, grease all sides of the chicken tenders. Place them into the air fryer, but make sure to do not stack them. Cook at 400 degrees for about 8 minutes. If needed, cook the chicken tenders in batches.
Step 5: Turn the chicken tenders on the other side and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes more or until crisp. Note that the exact time of cooking varies depending on your air fryer. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reached at least 165 degrees.
Step 6: Serve right away. Enjoy!
