*INGREDIENTS:
°2 medium pork chops, heritage breed
°2 tablespoons pasture butter, melted
°4 minced garlic cloves
°3 sprigs of thyme
°tablespoon of olive oil
°salt and pepper to your liking
*INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 380 degrees.
Step 2: Season pork chops well with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Melt 5 small spoonfuls of butter in the microwave or in the store to make the butter sauce. Feel free to add more if you wish.
Step 4: Add thyme and minced garlic to melted butter. Stir well and keep it aside to rest.
Step 5: Heat the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops to the hot oil and sear for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 6: Pour the garlic butter mixture over the pork chops and transfer the skillet to the oven. Cook the pork chops until the internal temperature reaches about 145 to 150 degrees.
Step 7: Remove skillet from oven when pork chops are done. Pour over the remaining butter sauce in the pan.
Step 8: Serve immediately.
