INDIAN FRYBREAD

Ingredients:

4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons baking soda

Water.

Directions:

I usually only take half the flour at first (Mix it with all of the other dry ingredients) and add water until you get a paste, then slowly add more flour until you get a nice soft dough.

You want your pieces of dough to be about 1/2 inch thick. Fry this in lard until it’s golden brown.

Coat with butter after removing from pan.

Note:

I don’t measure the water. I add warm water until I get the paste.

Enjoy.
