A dish that will delight your whole family without much effort!
* Ingredients :
° Minced meat 600 grams
° onion 1
° 2 cloves garlic
° carrot 1
° Celery branch 1
° butter 50 gm
° eggs 2
° Breadcrumbs 50 g
° 2 tablespoons ketchup
° 6 slices of bacon
° Herbs (parsley, chives) 3 tablespoons
° Worcestershire 2 tablespoons
Peel the carrots and celery and cut into cubes. Chop garlic and onion. In a skillet, saute onions, carrots, celery and garlic in butter over low heat for 15 minutes. Heat oven to 180 ° C. Mix the bacon.
In a bowl or salad bowl, combine eggs, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Add breadcrumbs, ground beef, bacon, onion, garlic, celery, and carrots. Add salt and pepper and mix well. Put the preparation in an ovenproof mould. Give an oval shape using your hands if necessary. Not particularly butter dish (kind like me)
Bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool and then cut it into slices with a green salad.
You can add thyme or basil to herbs or even curries. In the original recipe, Americans add a layer of ketchup with maple syrup on top. Caramelizes during cooking. It can also be made into sandwiches. Germans love this type of sandwich (with only meat or a little mustard or something else).
