mexican Bolillos o Teleras recipe

Ingredients:
4 cups flour
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 cup warm water, more if needed
1/4 cup warm water
1.5 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp lard (I used pork lard) but veg is okay too
Directions:
Mix 1tsp sugar with 1/4 water and yeast let stand for 5 minutes, it should rise.
In the mixer or on the table if you don’t have a mixer, put the rest of ingredients and add the yeast mixture, if using mixer knead with the hook, (if dough is to stiff add a tbsp of water at the time, it has to be soft)for at least 10 minutes. Let rest in an oiled bowl for about an hour in a warm place like the oven. Then make them the size as you like, to give the teleras shape, extend each roll then each sides towards the middle until each end meet, place it on baking tray with parchment paper and ket rest for about 45 minutes. Turn oven at 400 and bake until lightly brown.
Enjoy !!
