You can feel free to forget about turning on the oven and baking during the summer months, because we have great recipes, for which you don’t need a stove at all.
One of them is a dessert lasagna with cherries and cream cheese… sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?
5 mini bags of Nilla Wafer Minis- or use regular size Nilla Wafer
8 ounces soft cream cheese
⅓ cup of sugar
8-ounce cold tray in bathtub
½ cup canned cherries
1 can of cherry pie filling
Line a bread pan with Nilla wafers at the bottom.
In a mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar.
When it is soft, beat it with a cold whip.
Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the cookies gently.
Stir the preserves to loosen them and apply them to the cheesecake mixture. Spread gently.
Add another layer of Nilla Wafers and cover with the rest of the cheesecake mixture.
Pour in the cherry pie filling.
Park in the fridge overnight and serve with a little whipped cream! YUM!
