ONE-POT CHEESEBURGER MACARONI

Ingredients:

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 c chicken broth

8 oz uncooked cellentani pasta (or elbows)

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp onion powder

A pinch of salt, to taste

16 ounces diced tomatoes, drained (optional)

2 c shredded cheddar cheese

A pinch of black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

parsley, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.

Add garlic and sauté for a minute or until aromatic.

Add the ground beef, then stir and cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess fat.

Add Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, Dijon mustard, and pepper. Stir until well blended.

Add the pasta and chicken broth into the skillet. Stir until well mixed, then allow the mixture to boil.

Cover the skillet, then cook the pasta according to the directions provided in the package.

Remove the pan from the stove, then add the tomatoes and cheddar cheese. Stir until well blended.

Cover the skillet again and let the skillet sit at room temperature until the cheese has melted completely.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
