  • 1 Egg
  • diced tomatoes
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 24 oz. mild Pace salsa
  • 2 packages taco seasoning
  • 15 oz. ricotta cheese
  • sour cream
  • 5 c shredded Mexican style cheese
  • green onions
  • 1 package of lasagna noodles

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.

Add the taco seasoning and stir until well mixed.

Meanwhile, add the ricotta cheese and eggs into a mixing bowl. Beat until well combined.

Arrange about 5 lasagna noodles into a baking dish.

Add about 1/4 of the ricotta mixture over the lasagna noodles and spread it evenly.

Add 1/4 of beef on top of the ricotta mixture.

Add 1/3 of salsa over the beef, then sprinkle a generous amount of cheese. Repeat the process until everything is arranged in layers.

Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil.

Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

Slice into even pieces.

Garnish with sliced tomatoes, green onions.

Serve with sour cream on top. Enjoy!
