  • 1 pie crust Graham cracker crust Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Fresh lime juice Use fresh, avoid bottled
  • 1 tbsp Lime zest Don’t skip for flavor!
  • 3 large Eggs Bind the ingredients together
  • 1 cup Whipped cream Optional, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and eggs.
  3. Whisk until smooth with no lumps.
  4. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the edges are set, but the center is still jiggle.
  2. Cool completely on a wire rack before chilling in the fridge for at least an hour.
  3. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice, let the pie cool before slicing for clean cuts, and ensure your crust is tightly packed.
