For the Parfait

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain) Full-fat for extra creaminess, low-fat works too.
  • 1 cup granola (honey or nut-based) Look for clusters with texture, such as rolled oats, almonds, or pecans.
  • 1 cup fresh mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) Use fresh or thawed frozen berries.
  • 2 tbsp berry jam or strawberry compote Adds sweetness and glossy finish.
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup For flavor and shine.
  • to taste crushed nuts (optional) Chopped walnuts, pecans, or seeds for added crunch.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Spoon a generous layer of yogurt into the bottom of your glass.
  • Add a layer of crunchy granola over the yogurt.
  • In a small bowl, mix the fresh berries with your berry jam or compote, then spoon a layer on top of the granola.
  • Repeat layering yogurt, granola, and berries until your glass is full.
  • Top with a swirl of yogurt or whipped cream, add a few berries, drizzle with honey or maple syrup, and scatter any optional crushed nuts.

Notes

Assemble just before eating to keep granola crunchy. For meal prep, layer yogurt and berries in jars without granola and add it before serving. Experiment with dairy-free options or different fruits for customization.
