Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package Frozen shredded hash browns Thawed if frozen.
  • 1 pound Breakfast pork sausage Mild or spicy, as preferred.
  • 4 slices Bacon Diced into small pieces.
  • 8 large Eggs Whisked.
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese Sharp preferred.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Season eggs and sprinkle on top.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  • In a skillet, brown the sausage and bacon over medium heat until sausage is crumbly and bacon is crisp.
  • Drain most of the fat, leaving a little for flavor.
  • In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, cooked meats, whisked eggs, and a good pinch each of salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for about 45 minutes until the center is set and cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Prep the casserole the night before for a quick baking in the morning. Let sit for 5-10 minutes for easier slicing.
