Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking dish lightly or line with parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Whisk them briefly.
- Add the melted butter to the dry mix. Pour in about half the water and begin to stir.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it gently until it’s about as thick as your thumb.
- Place the dough in your prepared baking dish, gently pressing it to fit.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Serve warm. Slice into squares and enjoy straight from the dish.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days. Reheat in a warm oven to maintain crispiness. This dish can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
