  • 9 oz Cheese Tortellini (fresh or frozen) Fresh tortellini is preferred, but frozen works too.
  • 24 oz jar Pizza Sauce Use store-bought or homemade for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Sliced Pepperoni Mini pepperoni can be used for added crispiness.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded) Hand-shredded melts better than pre-packaged.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (optional) For added flavor, use if desired.
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning For classic pizza taste.
  • to taste Fresh Basil or Parsley (for garnish) Add color and freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook cheese tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the warm tortellini with pizza sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella, parmesan (if using), and pepperoni slices. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

Baking

  • Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Serving

  • Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley, and serve hot.
  • Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra saucy casseroles, add more pizza sauce. Arrange pepperoni on top for a crispy finish. Keep an eye on the last 5 minutes to prevent overbaking.
