  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Chopped nuts (e.g., pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 tbsp Chopped herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) Optional for extra flavor
For serving
  • 1 box Crackers or bread For serving with the spread

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
Mixing
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Adding Flavors
  1. Gently fold in the chopped cranberries and nuts. Optionally, add chopped herbs for more flavor.
Chill
  1. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish, smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve
  1. Remove from refrigerator and serve with an assortment of crackers or bread.

Notes

Garnish with additional chopped cranberries and herbs for presentation. The spread can be made a day or two in advance.
