Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture, and mix well.
  5. Finally, stir in the milk and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
