Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
For a fudgier texture, swap half of the all-purpose flour for almond flour or reduce baking time by 3-5 minutes. Store cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze slices individually wrapped for up to 2 months.
