Preparation
- In a large punch bowl, pour in the Hawaiian punch and pineapple juice.
- Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the lime sherbet into neat little mounds over the surface.
- Right before serving, slowly pour the fizzy lemon-lime soda over the sherbet and punch.
- Stir gently once or twice with a ladle to distribute some of the sherbet without flattening all the bubbles.
- Serve immediately in cups or stemware with a scoop of sherbet and a little fizz on top.
Notes
Keep the sherbet chilled until the last possible second to hold its shape. Chill your punch bowl or pitcher ahead of time for longer-lasting foam. Offer a small pitcher of rum or vodka on the side for guests who like boozy drinks.
