Chocolate Coating
  • 8 ounces Melting chocolate (milk, dark, or white) Melt in a microwave-safe bowl in intervals.
Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Crushed nuts Use for a crunchy texture.
  • 1/2 cup Crushed cookies Finely chopped for best adherence.
  • 1/4 cup Sprinkles Choose colorful sprinkles for decoration.
Other
  • 6 pieces Popsicle sticks For easy handling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Scoop vanilla ice cream into molds or form bar shapes using a spoon.
  2. Insert a popsicle stick into each bar and freeze until solid (around 2-3 hours).
Chocolate Coating
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Once frozen solid, dip each ice cream bar into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it fully.
  3. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle crushed nuts, cookies, or sprinkles on top of the bars.
  4. Place the chocolate-dipped bars back in the freezer to harden for another 30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once frozen solid, take out and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate ice cream bars!

Let your ingredients sit at room temperature for easier handling. Avoid overcrowding your freezer to prevent sticking.
