  • to taste chopped parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high.
  • Season thin-sliced steak with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear steak until browned and just cooked, about 2–3 minutes. Set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same pot, pour in the BBQ sauce, honey, heavy cream, milk, and beef broth. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add dry pasta and stir. Let it simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once pasta is tender and sauce is thickened, stir in the seared steak and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.

Serving

  • Dish up bowls and top with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Cut steak thin for even cooking. Use a high-quality BBQ sauce for best flavor. Stir pasta occasionally to prevent sticking. Let cheese melt off-heat for a creamier texture.
