  • 500 g de crevettes crues décortiquées et déveinées room temperature or thawed if frozen
  • 200 g d'épinards frais washed, stems removed if large
  • 2 gousses d'ail émincées finely chopped
  • 1 petit oignon haché finely diced
  • 1 cuillère à soupe d'huile d'olive extra virgin preferred
  • 100–150 g Fromage de crabe adjust to taste
  • 120–180 ml Crème fraîche start with this amount
  • Sel et poivre au goût
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes, lemon zest, chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and chopped garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. Incorporate the shrimp and cook until they are pink and fully cooked.
  4. Add the crab cheese and crème fraîche, mixing until well combined and the sauce is creamy and slightly thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Shrimp should be roughly the same size for even cooking. For extra creaminess, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of mascarpone at the end. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
