Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature for easiest mixing
  • 1 cup sour cream, full-fat or light adds tang and smoothness
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix store-bought or homemade
Mix-ins
  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped green onions (scallions), finely chopped for fresh bite
Dipping Vegetables
  • Assorted vegetables (carrots, celery, bell peppers) for dipping
  • Salt and black pepper to taste optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
  2. Stir in chopped green onions until evenly distributed.
  3. Taste and season with a pinch of salt and a grind of black pepper if needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with assorted vegetables for dipping.

Notes

For a thicker dip, chill for 30-60 minutes. Pair with pita chips or toast for a complete appetizer.
