  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Finely chopped for best flavor
  • 1 Juice Lemon For zesty brightness

Method

Preparation
  1. Let the steak come to room temperature for even cooking.
  2. Generously season the steak with salt, pepper, and minced garlic; massage the seasonings into the meat.
Cooking
  1. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When shimmering, add your steak.
  2. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, looking for a brown crust while ensuring the inside remains juicy.
  3. In another skillet, heat a splash of olive oil on medium heat, add shrimp with garlic and lemon juice. Sauté shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
Serving
  1. Plate the steak alongside the shrimp, adding your chosen side.
  2. Sprinkle fresh herbs like parsley for an extra touch.

Notes

Let the steak rest after cooking to retain juices. Avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking.
