Cheddar Quick Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour
a quarter teaspoon of baking powder

1 tbsp sugar (granulated)

1 1/2 tablespoons powdered garlic

a half teaspoon of salt

1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup room temperature buttermilk (plain milk can be used)

1 big room-temperature egg

2 tbsp. butter (melted)

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 teaspoon chopped parsley

a quarter teaspoon of garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Coat a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with baking spray or gently grease it.

In a large mixing basin, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Toss in the cheddar cheese and stir until it’s equally distributed.

Combine the milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate basin.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir just until mixed.

Place the mixture in the prepared loaf pan, bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife or skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.

1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, melted together, brushed over heated bread

Remove the pan from the oven and set it aside to cool for a few minutes before removing it.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
