Ingredients:
°2 bunches of asparagus
°1 tablespoon of butter
°1/2 oz cream cheese, softened
°1/2 cup heavy whipped cream
°1 tablespoon of chicken broth
°1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
°1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
°1/4 teaspoon paprika
°1/8 tsp salt
°1/8 tsp pepper
°1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
°1/8 cup Pepper Jack cheese, grated
°1/2 c mozzarella cheese
°1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
°1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
*Methods :
-Preheat oven 400 degrees. -Washing & trim asparagus, & greased 9 * 13 mold also place them in it.
-In a skillet, melting butter over medium heat, then add the softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and the pepper.
-Whisk continuously until the ingredients are well combined.
-Reduce to medium/low heat and gently simmer the sauce until the heavy whipping cream has reduced and thickened.
Keep whisking so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
-Once it has thickened, add the Parmesan cheese and pepper jack and continue to stir until the cheeses melt and the sauce is smooth.
-Pour the cheese sauce over the asparagus in the middle of the casserole, avoiding the top of the asparagus.
-Next, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and crushed red pepper flakes on cheese sauce.
– Bake for 15 minutes.
If you prefer crunchier asparagus, you can reduce the cooking time by 2 to 3 minutes.
-Remove from the oven and add the bacon bits on top.
– Cook another 3 minutes and Enjoy !
