Ingredients:
° 1 red bell pepper
° 1 green bell pepper
° 1 white onion
° 1 can tomatoes
° 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into strips
° 2 teaspoons minced garlic
° 2 tablespoons of olive oil
° ⅔ cup hot water
° 1 beef stock cube
° 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
° 1 tablespoon cornstarch
° 1 tablespoon brown sugar
° 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
° Salt and pepper to taste
*Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Heat the olive oil in a pan
Add the steak to the skillet and sauté until browned on each side
SECOND STEP:
Dissolve broth in hot water and pour into slow cooker
Whisk cornstarch into broth and water
THIRD STEP:
Add Worcestershire, soy sauce and brown sugar to slow cooker
Adding diced tomatoes, salt & pepper
FOURTH STEP:
Stirring in beef also onions
Cook on low heat for 6 to 7 hours or on high heat for 3 hours
FIFTH STEP:
Add the minced peppers and cook for an additional hour
Garnish with minced green onion
Serve with rice on the side and a dinner salad
