Taco Shepherd’s Pie

Taco Shepherds Pie takes a classic comfort food staple and puts a twist on it that the whole family will love. A mixture of taco meat, corn, and peppers are topped with easy and buttery mashed potatoes and cheese, then baked to golden perfection. It couldn’t get any better than that!


  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  •  cup water
  • 1 ½ cups frozen corn
  • 1 ½ cup bell peppers red or green, diced
  • 1 package bob Evans Mashed potateos 
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese


  • Brown ground beef and onion. Drain any fat.
  • Add taco seasoning, water (according to package directions), corn and peppers and cook until peppers are tender crisp.
  • Pour into greased casserole dish.
  • Top with mashed potatoes and cheese. Bake 350 for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
