WE CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF THIS BLT CHICKEN SALAD

This salad is all about crunch! From the bacon to the lettuce, everything about this salad is so luscious. Every bite feels like heaven. The taste of the dressing combined with the rest of the ingredients is perfect!
Make sure to crisp the bacon for the best flavor. I can’t get enough of this salad. All my friends and family love it! The only way to know how awesome this is to try it and have your friends come over! A very special salad for very special people. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 3 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup chopped fresh tomato
  • 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 1 large avocado, sliced

DIRECTIONS :

Step 1: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 2: Add in the bacon and cook for 10 minutes until greasy and crispy.

Step 3: Line a plate with paper towels then place the cooked bacon to drain the excess oil. Crumble then set aside.

Step 4: In a large mixing bowl, add in the chicken, bacon, celery, and tomato. Stir until well combined.

Step 5: In another mixing bowl, add in the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, green onions, parsley, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed and smooth.

Step 6: Pour the dressing over the chicken and bacon mixture. Toss until all the ingredients are well coated with the dressing.

Step 7: Place inside the fridge for 30 minutes to chill.

Step 8: Spoon the chicken mixture into the romaine lettuce leaves. Place the avocado on top for garnish.

Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
